The connection
Premiss supplies the strategy logic and outgoing signals. Your 3Commas bot receives those signals and applies its own account settings. This is a connection to a Custom Signal Bot, with a clear place to configure the receiver’s trading behavior.

The preset reads the bot details from your generated 3Commas JSON. Set concrete exchange and instrument values that match your receiver.
Configure position size, leverage, loss limits and exit behavior in 3Commas. Premiss stores a signal credential, not your exchange API keys.
In 3Commas, create a Signal Bot with Custom Signal as its source. Choose the exchange and market you intend it to trade.
In Premiss Signals, select 3Commas. Paste the generated bot JSON into the secure form and match the exchange and instrument. Choose the paper bot that supplies its signals.
Set entry sizing in 3Commas instead of sending it in a webhook. Verify exit sizing too: an exit_long signal can reduce a position instead of closing it completely. Review both systems’ histories.
A few details
The Premiss workflow uses your paper bot as the signal source. 3Commas documents Custom Signal for sources other than TradingView. Use the Custom Signal Bot JSON supported by the Premiss setup form.
The preset is for the Custom Signal Bot contract. It is not a general connection to DCA or Grid bots. If your 3Commas bot shows a different configuration format, check compatibility before connecting.
No. Delivery confirms that the receiver accepted the request. The receiver’s sizing and position settings determine the order, and an exit signal can produce a partial reduction. Check execution in 3Commas.
