What is a signal bot?
In Premiss, it is a paper strategy that evaluates new market data and sends a signal when its position changes. You define the trading rules. AI helps create the code; it does not make the strategy profitable or guarantee the next move.
Can I send trading signals to my Discord server?
The Discord preset posts entry and exit cards through an incoming webhook for a channel you manage. Each message identifies the market, action, strategy interval and decision time. Signal delivery is included with Pro and Quant.
How is a signal bot different from a research agent?
A signal bot follows a strategy you define and test. A research agent investigates questions, weighs new evidence, and can propose or make trading decisions. Choose a signal bot for fixed rules; choose an agent for work that calls for ongoing research and judgment.
Is a signal the same as an executed trade?
No. Discord receives a notification. An external bot service may use a signal to place an order under its own settings. A delivery status confirms receipt, not a filled trade.
Which signals are sent?
Signals describe changes between long, short, and flat positions. Short signals to trading destinations require compatible receiver settings and your explicit confirmation. Connecting or resuming sends subsequent timely changes; it does not replay past trades or synchronize an existing position. Holding the same position does not trigger another signal.
