The connection

One strategy. A clear handoff.

A private trading journal, a research channel or a community you run: keep the strategy and its alerts together. Premiss generates signals from your rules and posts them through a Discord incoming webhook. You choose the channel.

Your rules set the signal

The AI helps write your strategy. The running paper bot follows those rules and produces a signal when its position changes.

A message you can trace

Each card includes the action, market, strategy interval, decision time and a Premiss event reference.

A channel you control

Use your own Discord webhook. This connection posts notifications; it does not read channel messages or place exchange orders.

Discord documentation
  1. 01

    Prepare your paper bot

Describe a strategy, inspect its Python and backtest it. Start a paper bot so it can evaluate new market data.

  2. 02

    Choose your Discord channel

In Discord, open the channel’s integration settings and create an incoming webhook. You need permission to manage webhooks in that channel.

  3. 03

    Connect it in Premiss

Open Signals, choose Discord and paste the webhook into the secure setup form. Select your paper bot. Check the channel and delivery history when its next position change occurs.

A few details

Good to know.

Can I create a Discord crypto signal bot without coding?

You can describe the trading rules in Premiss and review the Python it generates. After backtesting and starting a paper bot, the Discord preset connects its entry and exit signals to your channel. Signal delivery requires Pro or Quant.

Does this forward TradingView alerts or copy Discord signals?

This integration sends signals generated by a Premiss paper bot. It does not import TradingView alerts, read another Discord channel or copy somebody else’s trades.

Will it post a signal as soon as I connect?

Connecting starts delivery for subsequent position changes. It does not replay historical signals or send an initial position update. The current signal format covers entering and exiting long positions.

Do I need an exchange API key?

The Discord connection needs an incoming webhook URL, not an exchange API key. A notification in Discord is separate from any decision to place a trade.
