Terms of Service
Last updated June 13, 2026
The short version: Premiss is a tool for testing and practicing trading ideas, not financial advice. Use it responsibly, keep your account secure, and remember that past results never guarantee future ones.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using Premiss, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Premiss is - and isn't
Premiss is a tool for testing trading ideas on historical data and practicing on a simulated portfolio. It is for education and research.
Nothing on Premiss is financial, investment, or trading advice. Backtested and practice results are hypothetical and do not guarantee future performance. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Premiss.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law, infringe others' rights, or try to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Don't abuse the agent or the execution environment - for example, by attempting to run code that attacks our systems or other users.
Your content
You own the strategies and ideas you create. You grant us the limited rights we need to store and process them in order to operate the product for you.
Plans and payment
The Free plan is available at no cost. Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout and renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the paid period.
Service changes
We're actively building Premiss, so features may change, and we may add, modify, or retire parts of the service. We'll avoid breaking things unnecessarily.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Premiss is not liable for any trading losses or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Premiss and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
